Images of Beech Hurst Railway through the past 50 years and counting

'Barry' a narrow gauge locomotive being lit on the steaming bays. The old house which used to stand where the new Brewsters Pub is now. A model of an American 'Big Boy' Locomotive. Digging the cutting for the long tunnel in 1970.
A petrol locomotive based on the 125HST is driven past the point to the siding. A very nice example of a Brighton Terrier. A V3 class locomotive poses for a shot under the footbridge. 'Wharfedale' being driven by our chairman on our 50th anniversary.
Our old station building. A class 47 waits in the station.  A visiting engine which is based on a 'Merchant Navy' but is driven by electric motors not steam! A traction engine built by a member sits in the car park, on our 50th anniversary.
A 'Warship' class locomotive sits in the siding. 4 engines head our 'Big Train' out of the station for a double lap.
